RECIPE FOR BARBECUED BEEF BUNS

Title: Barbecued Beef Buns
Serves: 8

Ingredients:
4.00 cup,   Cooked Beef Strips; 2 X 1/4"
1.00 cup,   Ketchup
0.50 cup,   Cider Vinegar
0.50 cup,   Butter Or Regular Margarine
0.25 cup,   Sugar
2.00 medium,   Onions; Thinly Sliced
2.00 slice,   Lemon
2.00 tbsp,   Worcestershire Sauce
4.00 tsp,   Prepared Mustard
1.00 tsp,   Salt
0.25 tsp,   Chili Powder
0.25 tsp,   Black Pepper
0.50 cup,   Water


Instructions:
Combine all of the ingredients, except the hamburger buns, in a 4-quart Dutch oven.
Cook over high heat until the mixture comes to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 25 minutes or until the mixture thickens.
Remove the lemon slices.
Pour into a container, cover and refrigerate.
TO SERVE: Warm over medium heat and serve in the hamburger buns.
